Who Are We?

Think back to when you were a kid. Think about what baseball meant to you - the dreams it inspired, the joy it brought to play, and the thrill it gave you to watch. What if you could bring the joy to a child with a disability or
life-threatening illness? What if you could give impoverished youngsters the chance to experience baseball in ways they never could otherwise?

You can, when you join our team.

The Character and Courage Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of deserving kids. Our logo tells our story, with three stars representing three pivotal players in baseball history. Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, and Lou Gehrig overcame enormous obstacles to accomplish their dreams. Inspired by their example, we are dedicated to helping youth who face obstacles of their own, such as physical handicaps, life-threatening medical conditions and living in impoverished communities. Their dreams are represented by three baseballs.

Together, the stars and baseballs overlook a horizon symbolizing hope - the hope for a brighter future made possible by the efforts of all our team members.
